The Tool
The Gasket Insertion Tool is a compact, low-profile clamp designed to effortlessly position a gasket between two flanges. With a profile thickness of just a few millimeters, the clamp allows the flanges to gently "hug" the gasket before being released.
A key feature of the tool is its innovative hinge design, which is as thin as the two sheet metal arms of the clamp, ensuring minimal disruption. The clamps are constructed from high-quality 316 marine-grade stainless steel for superior durability and corrosion resistance.
Additionally, a custom carry bag is provided, allowing divers to conveniently transport both the gasket and clamp to the site.

The Correct size clamp is chosen for the gasket. There are various sizes available.
The quick release latch is locked and if required additional tie wraps attached to prevent release. The adjustment arms are set to the correct height for the flange. This reduces the divers time adjusting height and placement on seabed.
Whilst the two flanges are separated the tool gets place and "hung" on one of the flanges, making sure the gasket is placed within the correct recess.
The Two flanges are brought together and the divers are to confirm that both sides of the gasket are mated to both flanges.
Once the diver has confirmed that the gasket is seated correctly the quick release latch on the clamp is released by use of one hand of the diver and the clamp slides out.
